FTTP • Midlands
Practical experience. A clear route to delivery.
ShanaLink is developing its FTTP subcontracting operation and welcomes discussions with telecom contractors working across the East and West Midlands.
Contractor enquiries
Start with the workstream.
Share the scope, location, expected workload and onboarding requirements. We will assess the fit and agree what is needed before committing to delivery.
FTTP installation opportunities
Workstream discussions informed by the founder’s recorded FTTP L2C Step 1 and Step 2 installation training. Any accepted scope depends on verified competence and contractor approval.
Midlands focus
Our target delivery area is the East and West Midlands. Specific postcodes, travel requirements and start dates are agreed for each opportunity.
Scope-led mobilisation
Personnel, vehicles, tools and equipment are arranged against an agreed workstream. Delivery capacity is confirmed during onboarding.

Meet the founderDelivery approach
Agree the requirements. Then mobilise.
ShanaLink is at the subcontractor onboarding and mobilisation planning stage. Insurance and compliance evidence will be confirmed against the contractor’s requirements before work starts.
Health and safety
Our intended approach includes task-specific risk assessments and method statements, site briefings, PPE checks, permit compliance and escalation when conditions are unsafe.
Quality and handover
Agree installation standards, required photographs, test evidence and completion records with the contractor. Resolve defects and exceptions before closing out work.
Onboarding readiness
Company details and a capability pack are available for discussion. Certificate checks, insurance, resources, commercial terms and start dates remain part of onboarding.
Next steps
A clear start for both sides.
STEP 1
Share the opportunity
Send the workstream, coverage area, likely volumes, rate card and required tickets.
STEP 2
Review the requirements
Confirm competence, compliance, insurance, equipment and payment terms.
STEP 3
Agree mobilisation
Confirm suitable resources, responsibilities and a start date before delivery is accepted.
